3.7I've worked for Texas Tech for almost 4 years now. I started on a different department, which I managed 7 computer labs across the campus. The current department I am working in is a similar role but with more leadership and managerial duties. Texas Tech is great place to work for me because of a wide variety of culture and discipline. It is an Enterprise Organization whereby you get to be exposed with centralized organization in an IT department.
4.2I have been a part of the Texas Tech community for the last 6 years. Texas Tech is a fantastic university, not only for students but also for its employees. Texas Tech employees thousands of people across all of their many different departments. Not only do they have opportunities at their headquarters in Lubbock, Tx, but they have positions and offices all over the country. From hourly positions to professional opportunities, Texas Tech is a fantastic University a great place to invest your future.
4.9Working for Texas Tech was one of the most healthy work environments that I have been in. The employees emphasized that school should always come first before the work and made sure that i was able to work and take care of my school in a healthy way. My supervisor, Dr. Andy Swift was excellent at pointing me in the right direction and making sure that my research was coming along at all times. We had weekly meetings to discuss my research over each week and he would show me what the next step would be. After some time, I was able to do the research on my own and finished my research as of last week.
