"Texas Instruments was a great place to start my career and learn about the semiconductor industry. Due to company rearrangement after about a year I moved to a new team that I wasn’t happy with. My role changed and my manager told me that there weren’t opportunities outside of this role for the foreseeable future, which is when I decided to leave for better opportunities."

There are normally plenty of opportunities to move around and try different roles within the company. I happened to land with a team after a reorganization that operated a bit differently than the team I was with before and found myself stuck in a role I did not enjoy. After trying to move for a year I decided that I needed to quit and try to find a new job."

People: Expectations are set from day 1 as to what is acceptable from an ethics and performance standpoint; unfortunately, if you have enough experience these things will be overlooked as long as you are not in the presence of the public."
