"The bio-science and medical department have difficulty having good relationship between faculty and non-tenure scientist. Very strong class distinctions are observed, Must have tenure or married to a tenured faculty to have any political standing with your job."

What don't you like about working at Texas A&M University?

"No job security unless tenured faculty; little representation and benefits for post-doc and associate research scientist."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Not giving adequate forewarning employees of loss of job. Not suggesting new jobs in the TAMU. Bad experience with job termination. Gave no possibility of growth opportunities and did not discuss the matter very well."
