The standard work week is 40 hours for fulltime and 20 hours for part-time workers. Texas A&M pays proportionately for the 12-15 holidays they observe each year. Generous vacation pay, holiday pay, and retirement plans are based on service years. A&M recognizes the value of employees and compensates them accordingly with merit pay, job-related skill enhancement pay, and hiring salary adjustments.
