Submit a Review"I pretty much like every aspect. Since I started doing QA in gaming and then I transitioned to software, I admit it is a lot more challenging, but fulfilling. The things I would say that I dislike would be, when the right equipment is not available when needed, and also when the tools used within QA to test the software do not work as intended. Of course the product itself might not work properly as intended, but that is what QA is there for."

Occasionally Test Engineering can become a bit repetitive but even then this typically opens the gates to improvement for the engineer or the test setup."

"Offers a wide variety of components or challenges to face, but does not allow deep growth in any. Basically, you grow as a test engineer with a large tool belt of skills. Allows for some creativity and would be great for a new engineer that doesn't know what field of engineering they want in."

What do you like about working at Ericsson?
"The benefits are outstanding. The company truly cares about its work force. From paid medical benefits, to school reimbursement amount per year, to training and days off. If it was not because my team was transferred back to Sprint, and we had no choice but to move, I would be working still with Ericsson. Best Company I have worked for!!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Research the company, research the position that you are applying for and if you get in, give 110% because the company will take care of you and your family."
What don't you like about working at Ericsson?
"Would have liked the option of staying when several groups were rebadged back to Sprint. Nobody was given an option."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep up the great work, and if at all possible give your good performers the option to stay or move within the company."
"I code a lot, and that what I like, but testing is not a real developer position."
