"Like working with the people. Management in this company did not trust any of their employees and treated the designers and drafters as second class citizens. I wish I could have improved that but was not given any authority or even goals to meet. Oddest place I have ever worked for."

"Good company with enormous potential for growth. International model could allow for travel if desired."

"Stagnant environment where ideas and conflicting proposals get me with negativity."

"Be open minded. Admit when you may not know as much as you think. Don't be afraid to ask for help, it is not a weakness."

"I liked (I haven't worked for this company in many years) the daily challenges working with the team to get the best out of everyone."

"Be honest with your past work history and experiences. Show a can do attitude."

"Sometimes these is too much red tape for acquiring the necessary equipment to make the job easier."

"Early on I liked the people, the vision, the culture and the challenges of building an IT infrastructure from the ground up."

"Honestly, I never speak ill of a previous employer, but I would never recommend anyone to JDV Hotels IT."
What don't you like about working at Joie de Vivre Hotels?
"New owners have killed the culture that once was such a huge part of the success of JDV Hotels."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Managers can't really effect change, that happens at very high level (VP and above) by people who believe that technology isn't important in the hospitality industry (Actual statement)."
