What do you like about working at JPMorgan?
"My colleagues in my department were all very bright, highly motivated individuals. The benefits were quite good, very much on par with what one expects of a bank officer position. The company usually did right by recognizing people for their efforts and talent."
What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?
"There were many of the same problems that any large multi-national corporation has: too many chiefs, not enough braves. At the time, JPMC couldn't decide if it was a bank with a technology focus, or a technology company focusing on banking. There were problems with departmental rivalries and department heads treating their turf as personal fiefdoms. The department was eventually dismantled because the new boss wanted to control everything from his office in Tampa."

What suggestions do you have for management?
"Promote more from within and loosen restrictions on pay percentage increases to retain top talent. Individuals performing like duties should be paid accordingly."
