What do you like about working at Target?

"Worked with some great people within the distribution centers."

What don't you like about working at Target?

"Very management heavy. If the manager did not like you, good luck getting promoted or even moving within the company. They will be very verbal that they are not going to support it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Reduce management team. If the manager has many team members moving on or out after years of service, evaluate why. Target is loosing good people due to poor managers."

"Great organization as a whole - superb inventory management and procurement. Very interesting and exciting product mix."

What don't you like about working at Target?

"Career growth is strictly politically motivated and very much a clique - particularly in the location I was at (north). Employee discounts are too low, no career path, store level management need to be more involved in the day to day operation (not sure if this is all over or just in the 2 locations I worked at)."
