"The Relaxed working conditions, and when there was urgent request all co-workers where brainstorming to get the job done."

"that I was laid off because the reduction in force, and the cost of the product was to high and we could not keep afloat after the bubble burst in 2006-07."

"None at this time, they may all be laid off since Oracle now bought them out."

"You need to be top-notch. They are very selective with there hiring process."

"It was too volatile. They didn't know how to compete against the application-set from Microsoft and everyone was worried about being laid-off on Thursday. Thursday was the notification day for termination."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There seem to be many cults within the company. Too frequently the compete against each other. For example Java Soft was a stand-alone division making great market penetration however, the decision was made that they were too successful and were brought back into the center-line development effort of Sun Microsystems. They should have been left as a business unit with their own traceable revenuies."

"Management did not change with the times (Intel) until way too late in the product life-cycle."

"Adjust to customer demand. Many companies after a brilliant history become arrogant and believe change is not necessary. It is always necessary for survival!"
