What do you like about working at Sterling/Astrup Drug?
"It's in the health-care industry, so there will always be work to be done. The company itself is growing quickly. Also, there is a very relaxed dress code where you can wear shorts and sandals in the summer and sweatpants in the winter."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Ask a lot of questions about the environment. Ask if you can speak to one or two of the workers in the ranks during the interview to get a good feel for the company and the type of work you will be doing."
What don't you like about working at Sterling/Astrup Drug?
"I feel the environment is oppressive, many of the coworkers are catty and grumpy, the hours are long and there is very little thought to personal time. The communication within the company and coming from the corporate office is very lacking. The organizational skills of the company are also thin."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Let the workers do their job, realize that the employees you hired are capable individuals who know what's going on, get out of the employees' way when you assign them something, deliver on what you promise when you hire, and learn to communicate with your employees"
