"I worked for Starbucks back in 2016 and left in 2018. After a year I came back in 2019 and have been with the company since. Starbucks is the only job I’ve ever had. I love the company’s values and benefits however, they don’t pay enough. Both my boyfriend and I work for the company and we were homeless for about two months because we did not make enough money combined to get an apartment in the area where we worked. Starbucks does offer assistance to partners in need but that doesn’t change our gross income. I love the environment, the different things we do in our community. My only issue is the pay. I also feel that my particular area is very biased when it comes to moving up with the company."
"Starbucks is great for people who need part-time benefits such as health insurance and tuition reimbursement. The entry-level pay is low and stress levels are high for all employees."
"Great Company and Great benefits"
"Starbucks has done everything in their power to help me, when I found out I was accepted last minute to a program in Utah, my store manager at the time and my soon to be store manager had no problems expediting the transfer process, so that I knew I would have a job when I landed in Utah. They also provide a free sandwich/ food item for every shift you work, even if it is only 4 hours. This has been one of the few companies who I would come back and work for again."
"I work as a Team Lead Supervisor at Starbucks. I am running a licensed store owned by 4points hotel by Sheraton. The company's mission and vision reflects on the outcome of the business as every employee is motivated and stretching its full potential to provide excellent customer service."
"The hours are flexible and you sure won't feel bored. Some stores are really homey and the people are great, but unfortunately, there are some people that stay with the company that is really not warm and fuzzy. Very surprising."
"I have worked for Starbucks for over 2 years. This job works well for someone who needs flexibility and a fast paced environment. Every Starbucks is different so make sure you get to know the one you apply to work at. Also, transfers are very easy within your district and across the country. This job has definitely worked in my favor for quick transitions and an easy rehire."
"Starbuck is a fun and great place to work at. It offers me job stability and experience to become a manager to build my leadership skills as a college student. It also is a place to meet new people, interact, and share your views on any relating subject be it politics, finding love, help getting adjusted to a new city, or just wanting to me new people and share your thoughts while drinking coffee."
"I’ve worked for Starbucks for 8 years and found them to be an ethically aligned company with good values. Compensation is not where I think it should be and I’m ready to move on to push toward my fullest potential!"
"Great company to work for."
