"It's a job not a career. Some mngrs know its bad and try to compensate othres don't care."

"some of the people are great and some managers will treat you like a professional"

"take the job only if you have no other option and get all the pay you can up front because you want get a pay increase for 5 years, even if you're working 60 hours a week, and then only if you're lucky. You'll have to get other job offers to force a pay increase out of them."
What don't you like about working at Descartes?
"expect a raise to be 5 years apart and some managers don't care if you die working so long as you are making them look good. These managers are paranoid about their own jobs since layoffs happen almost every quarter."

"at least act like you need employees rather than treat them like furniture."

"new start up mental health and chemical dependency hospital. Good location."

"Don't. This hospital is poorly managed, only profit focused, Staff is treated poorly. Unethical practices, broken promises, deceit and unfairness."

"poor pay, poor benefits, poorly managed, management disrepectful of staff, no communication, many broken promises from management, very hostile working conditions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"less focused on making money and more focused on patient care and treating the staff professionally. Stop the verbal abuse and harrassment. Improve the pay and benefits. Become more ethical."
