"Pay is good. Excellent co-workers for the most part but some need to retire!"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you want a nursing job with autonomy, don't apply here. The nurses are really not allowed to use their critical thinking skills without first getting approval from management."
What don't you like about working at Palos Community Hospital?
"Antiquated system. So far behind the times it's not funny nor is it safe."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get rid of some of the hierarchy---from the top down. Good at one time--now just holding the hospital back!"

"The staff did not always work as a group, some work better then others."

"A take charge DON that would do what she said she would do."

"It's a Magnet Hospital with an upper Management Team that demonstrates care for their employees, As well, the middle Management team I work directly for, is very supportive."

"It's a busy trauma center; be prepared to be busy!"
What don't you like about working at University of Illinois?
"The job is mundane, and at times very stressful; the every other weekend schedule is less than desirable and not flexible."

"Nothing that I could comment on; they are good to work for."
