"Clinic level physicians + staff generally friendly + easy to work with. Good benefits. Investment in technology + EMR."

"For physicians Dean may pay slightly more than the other major players in town but it comes at the cost of work + personal satisfaction."

What don't you like about working at Dean Health Systems?

"Major disconnect between out of touch yes-man culture in management and frontline physicians. Certain physicians go into management to escape patient care responsibility + then make decisions affecting frontline physicians while rejecting any feedback. Nepotism makes it difficult to get rid of incompetent ancillary staff who have friends in management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make patient centered care a true focus of the company and not just a marketing slogan. Treat employees as human beings and not as disposable goods. Break down the silos and reduce the nepotism."
