The benefits are second to none, time off, work environment, medical and 403b contributions and matching, however there are several obstacles you encounter while trying to advance and better your career. "Many times you go unnoticed by human resources. Despite all the time I put in the university they never put me on radar for a more permanant position."

"That they should take care of their own, the people already working their before making the adjustment to bring in outside employees."

"It required 24 hours/7 days a week flexibility."

"I was employed by the university and compensated with a free tuition. It was very difficult to be a successful student when work required attendance during class hours."
