"You might as well be a telemarketer."

What do you like about working at SkillPath Seminars?

"Excellent 403B, no weekends, work 8-5, flexible with letting you off for appointments. 2 hour flex within the week."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"They will ask you if you would call HR or the CEO of the company....the correct answer for them is the CEO...start at the top and work your way down. I beg to differ because you can gather information and you work your way to the decision maker and be more prepared to close him. It's an easy interview."

What don't you like about working at SkillPath Seminars?

"Most unprofessional managers I've ever worked for ...foul mouth and condescending. They know everything suggestions for improvement are unheard. Lead Generator is a new position and the bugs are not worked out yet especially for the National Accounts Lead Generators...saw both of them fired within a month. This is a 100% ice cold calling job on C level executives. No qualified leads just random from a phone directory with is often outdated. After 3 days of training you go on the phone and are expected to make 120 dials per day, it's mind numbing. The paid is a non negotiable $30,000 and the opportunity for advancement past Account Manager is 0. Managers have been there since before fire was invented. If you like telemarketing, endless dialing, getting hung up on and literally hours of voice messages until you reach a human ...this one is for you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Lower the number of dials and let Lead Generators do qualified farming. At the end of the day everyone is just calling the east coast hoping to get a answering machine so they can get their dials in. You are getting no productivity from generators the last 2 hours of the day because the morning with spent trying to make real appointments instead of random useless blind dialing ."
