"While pay is high for industry, industry pay is low. Low opportunities for advancement and seemingly random chance of promotions. Central management office caters to clients while mostly ignoring guards posted at sites. Can sometimes be placed in a department against wishes."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Would institute a beter training program, more defined advancement path and allow more defined work delegation."

"The people, the business, and the wonderful benefits, all make Starbucks a wonderful working enviroment."

"Be personable, care about the customers and the work."

"The little things are often more managed than how I go about them."

"Hardly much different, maybe change some training routines and drink standards."

"If you are dedicated to the company you can rise, but its a very slow expansion rate, and there are very few openings now."

"The company does not value their hourly employees. New owners want drones, and the hourly are aware of it and resisting."

"I would not start regressing our brand image. I would restore our formality."

"The people I work with and our customers are interesting."

"Finish college, get a degree, don't begin in retail, it sucks your life out."

"Its too cookie-cutter corporate, and due to the lack of quality in most products, I cannot get enthusiastic enough to feel good about selling things."

"Slim down the offerings and focus on making better quality coffee and espresso beverages, not aimed for just quantity."

"I love the culture, my manager, my baristas, the environment, and most of the customers."

"The district manager is an overbearing, micromanaging PIA. She often has unrealistic goals for us."

"Howard is doing a great job honestly. The only thing I would do is give some of the older stores a facelift and end the licensing."

What do you like about working at Caribou Coffee?
"Exposure to many different cultures of people, and things. I met a lot of new people, and got to work with people from all over."

"Smile, and have a good attitude. Ninety percent of what you do is attitude."
What don't you like about working at Caribou Coffee?
"No room for growth outside becoming a store manager. I didn't get to work with their creative marketing team."

"More opportunities for long-term growth within the company.Implement a training program that offer other opprtunites"

What do you like about working at Milio's Sandwiches?
"I liked being able to build relationships with the regulars, and I also enjoyed trying to figure out a way to resolve any issues that came about in such a way that was beneficial to both the customer and the company."

"Show that you care about the customers above all else. The customer is the life blood of this company."
What don't you like about working at Milio's Sandwiches?
"I did not like that sometimes the company made it hard to achieve goals, as in there were certain situations that the company would want a specific goal achieved but not provide me with the correct tools and resources to complete it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My suggestion is to open up the flow of communication more. The more communication there is between upper management and lower management will provide a bigger amount of bigger trust and loyalty to the company."

"Mining field is a passion of mine so EII was a great place for me to work."

"The cronieism that prevented my security in the company, I was written out of the budget and offered to captain a sinking ship which would have ruined my career."

"Nurture dedicated employees and follow up with them for future need when it arises, they lost a great employee who was dedicated to the company and evolved into an expert in the field with high ethical and moral values."

"this was a busy job shop environment, that did high quality machining"

"I think every man needs to do what THEY believe is right, not try to do what you think someone else might want you to do."

"many times the office worked independent of the floor, and only when things got abit out of control, would they be addressed."

"I believe that always communicating , even some of the smallest details, is very important, and, allow your supervisors the ability to do the job and make decisions"

"Full-time benefits are available to part-time employees. They help pay for college and have a variety of resources such as counseling."

"Safety, communication, and analytical skills are highly important skills used as a supervisor."

"If you are injured on the job and didn't follow procedure, they will fire you!"

"Management teams are great and enthusiastic! It's been wonderful working with such laid-back and fun people (of course there are still a few jerks)."
