"I worked at Old Chicago part time while my kids were young. They were very flexible with my schedule and allowed wonderful advancement potential."

"Because it is a resturant with a full service bar the hours could get late, also there was the possiblity of having to work holidays."

"always a challenge to lower cost and increase production and do this while working with the help to gather imput. I liked my employees and they loved working for me."

"just be honest and be willing to do whats asked until you get off probation and give 100% and you will succeed"
What don't you like about working at Gerdau AmeriSteel?
"The hours and time commitment was extensive and family for me took second place. I'm a dedicated employee who gets the job done but expectations for my position was extensive do to condensing management and taking on more responsibilites."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"they have made several corrections and allow team leaders to make the choices in daily operation and manangement gets involved now only when the equipment or facility goes down for more then 3 hours."

What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management should know workwers who are reliable, who learn fast and who are proud of their job. Management should recognize those qualities and give those workers a chance to better themselves, instead of promoting more aggressive workers or friends."

"Nash was a wonderful place to work until they sent most work overseas and laid off most people."
What do you like about working at Starbucks?
"I am always interacting with customers on a daily basis which gives me a better insight of how to better the next experience for the customer on their next visit to Starbucks. Also, I get to see how a business works behind the scenes and what it takes to make a business grow as a team."

"Daily interactions with customers and co-workers. I had become friends with everyone except for one person at my store."

"Smile and pretend like it's something that you'd like to do for a career, not a job. But above all I'd advise anyone to never even consider working for this company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Completely remove the position of DM, they are a waste of time, money and space. They come into the stores and get in the way because many of them have been hired in and know nothing about the business that they are trying to run."
