Ted and Doris Isaacson as a painting business founded Servpro Industries in 1967. However, shortly after, the founders changed the focus of the company to restoration services. In 1969, the first franchise was sold. Recently, the company was involved in high-profile restoration efforts, such as the post September 11, 2001 cleanup and restoration following Hurricanes Katrina and Ike.
