What do you like about working at L-3?
"On a corporate level the benefits were top notch and exceptional."

"Don't run away for your own sake. If a lady named donna is headingup the place my advice to you is to work a street corner, you'd be happier."
What don't you like about working at L-3?
"This division, L-3 fort lauderdale 33309, was a dump! The people added to the dumpiness by hording work, not helping, back stabbing and being totally unsupportive."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get new management ! This was a bunch of total amatures thinking of themselves and the $$$$ only. had no support here and thrown tough work no one else would touch."

"the ability to grow was limited small company, but had a lot of clients"

"none at the moment. management was great at the time of employment"

"I enjoyed working with various forms of technology and being able to use problem solving to resolve network and technical issues in a wireless environment."

"Beware of the unspoken dynamics of the company. Look at the turnover rate and evaluate the job growth statistics."
What don't you like about working at Verizon Wireless?
"Verizon was not concerned with ensuring that the needs and requests of employees were met. There were more situations where information was not conveyed to employees clearly or expeditiously, causing frustration and losses. As a company, Verizon did not care about the employee-employer relationship, but rather more about the bottom dollar and exceeding expectations. Unrealistic expectations were placed upon the individual employee and certain call centers disproportionately."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Improve the morale of the employees by offering more ways of gaining necessary and desired training. Have more one-on-one development provided to access the areas in need of improvement in order to allow each employee to work at optimal levels. Assist employees with personal goals, both in the workplace and in career-based goals."
What do you like about working at Siemens?
"I like my co-workers and I like the projects that I work on."
What don't you like about working at Siemens?
"There is some lack of innovation currently at Siemens Energy"

"Innovate to continue to move the company forward quickly and more."

"Know your buzzwords and articulate the ways you will help reduce costs."

"It is very stressful not knowing when layoffs will occur. The focus is on reducing headcount."

"Focus more on growth instead on cost reductions. There needs to be a better balance between the two."

"No 'Job-well-done' acknowledgements. Company was always doing bad in the market and therefore received little to no bonusess"

"You won't get rich financially working here, but you will love doing what is best."

"Politicians in Washington pooling the strings. Congress not realizing the long term benefits for the work NASA had done and could continue to do."

"If you have never been in PreSales, be careful and ask 1000s of questions."

"PreSales pressure is a lot different. You must be an expert at many different things."

"The people were generally supportive and oriented towards completing tasks in a timely manner."

"For some contract positions, they subcontract out background checks to companies that have disclaimers that information may not be correct. The last check they did on me was 80% WRONG and they never bothered to correct it."

"Bad business decisions made at the executive level were the results of management to be candid with their superiors."

"Encourage greater candor from the top levels of the company down to the floor ."
