"I have a great deal of freedom and my coworkers are amazing."

"Prove that you are driven and want to achieve. This doesn't have to be in a technical way. You have to amaze them with something."

"I don't have the resources I need to complete my job to the standards I have set for myself. This causes me to have a great deal of stress and overtime."

"Don't stress out because it stresses out your coworkers."

"Be ready to say yes a lot and keep your opinions to yourself. Your job will be to please everybody - you will be reviewed by your peers."

"The management, politics, parking, lack of growth opportunities."

"Farm out the professional work."

"Job security is ok. Location for myself is not bad."

"Be aware that, while the cost of housing may appear lower than elsewhere, it really isn't, and the cost of living for the remote area is higher than perceived/advertised. So the lower compensation offered really is lower."
What don't you like about working at Michigan Technological University?
"Lack of compensation for responsibility. Remote location/lack of resources. Lack of professional growth opportunities."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Eliminate the Keweenaw Tax. Fund sufficient staff for IT needs. Stop mucking with the benefits package."

"Management at India needs to focus more on building the brand Accenture and quality, rather than working just to make money anyways. They must remember that a strong brand itself can bring in more clients."
