They will then create a plan to improve the efficiency of the company or organization.
Skillset: It is required that an operations specialist demonstrate superior knowledge of the industry they specialize in and have general business and finance experience. They must have strong communication and management skills as well as excellent problem solving abilities. They must be proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Education: Employers generally require that operations specialists hold a bachelor’s degree in a business, finance, or a field related to their specialized industry. Completion of advanced computer courses is also recommended.
