What do you like about working at XO Communications?

"I liked the challenge of joining a company at a time when they were reinventing themselves and launching a new cloud based services division."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It's a good entry level sales opportunity. I would just recommend that they be aware of that fact."

What don't you like about working at XO Communications?

"Traditional telecom only grows at 2%/year according to my training at XO, which is why they are trying to reinvent themselves with cloud services. The challenge was that their cloud based offerings were not well rounded enough to keep up with their competitors, and I was required to sell traditional telecom services, which are seen by all customers as a commodity rather than a solution, and that is not how the job was described during the recruiting process."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would recommend that they partner with a provider like NetEnrich for their new cloud based services instead of the variety of providers they are partnering with."

"None. I didn't enjoy my time at this copany. I don't have advice."

"Weak vision and management team. They had too wide a portfolio and did not have an expertise in any one area."

"Need stronger management and to develop a more focused offering."
