"Salary increases should have been regular,, at least to to compensate cost of living"

"I liked the way the company ran. I would have any suggestions other than the wages increases."

"There are some opportunities to work on/in new technical applications."

"Highlight your ability to work/manage remote design teams that are located offshore."

"Much of the work is required to be outsourced to India."

"Endeavor to provide more opportunities for US employees to directly contribute."

"new facility, good group of engineers, lots of work, very little overtime or weekends,"

"know solidworks very well, I will test you. Knowledge of automation is critical, we can tell if you are lying"

"no raise, lazy people, lack of commitment, no responsibility for management. People come to meeting and they are not prepared and that is ok with management."

"stop waiting to retire and get upto date on projects"

"Do what you say you can do. Show an interest in learning about the product."

"The drawing numbering system, it was ancient, non computerized and non related to function"

"None, except they should be aware it could take 10 minutes to do a detail and another 30 minutes to get a number for it"

"Telephonics is a dance in the fire type company. I liked the challenges offered to me, and I had top secret clearance."

"When a government project was over, there was a chance of losing your job.Basically, you need a new project to survive."

"Data-driven decision-making, products are of global importance, systematic performance reviews, strong funding for R&D"

"Take the interviewers seriously, even if you think they're junior to you."
What don't you like about working at Intel?
"Design inertia (company can embrace risk on one hand and fear it on the other), methodology infighting (groups all agree that sharing is important, but they always want it to be outbound)."

"Drive data and methodology sharing from the top, both philosophically and organizationally."

"Love engineering work, great satisfaction when I put together system I designed and it works. Love to see others use system I designed."

"Politics, people with bad attitude, too many meetings that do not contribute to ultimate goal."

"Was treated well. Cababilities were respected. Most of associates were easy to work with."

"I have no tips for interviewees. I have not been part of the interview process and things have changed a lot since I interviewed myself."

"Thirty mile commute, especially in winter time. The IT department is a contractor and sometimes is unresponsive."

"Need to provide the tools and quit trying to save a buck."

"Be wary of the negotiation process, and don't let the staffing manager dupe you into a bad relocation/sign-on bonus package."

"Made to do tasks I don't like, made to work like a machine, negative atmosphere."

"In a team of 40 people, you should know how to equally distribute work, not make 10 people do the work of all 40... and not pay those 10 people as much."

"You need to have a backup because the owners fire about 40% of people"
