"Developing tools to assist my Company and Co-workers is exciting. When one of my applications allows someone to accomplish what was a 4 hour job in 2 is very satisfying. I don't hate anything about application development and support. Sometimes the timelines are too short or the hours are too long which can be frustrating but not hated."

"I loved the work. I was learning and solving difficult problems. What I hated was the policy that the salary was not attached to the job title. A Senor Application Specialist could be paid at the rate of a Senior Software Engineer, in other companies, or at the rate of a junior engineer.Due to the economy, when I started, I was paid as a junor engineer."

"Great opportunity but the travel was ridiculous. No downtime or home time at all."

What do you like about working at AGFA?

"I liked the travel until it became relentless. I like helping companies with workflow issues. I enjoyed training employees to use new equipment and utilize the features of that equipment to make their jobs easier. Meeting new people and interacting with all facets of the medical profession was another perk of this job."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"To create a schedule where applications reps would have some downtime. Whether it be one office week a month, or 3 day travel weeks with 2 office days a week, there needs to be an adjustment in the demanding travel schedule."
