"Make sure you are able to perform task by yourself with little guidence, and be prepared to adapt to changes."

"Sometimes the proper equipment to do my job right is not supplied. I also want to be in the IT field."

"Make sure that all changes to procedures are written down and that each employee receives the proper training and equipment to do his/her job sufficiently."

"The location was central to the city of Gainesville, very accessible. The opportunity to work with people with more experience than me and learn from them was beneficial."
What don't you like about working at Alachua General Hospital?
"There are is not many options for advancement within the security field. Transitioning to another department with a similar work function is difficult. The pay becomes stagnant over time. There's also no room for becoming a supervisor unless someone in that position quits or retires."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My suggestions for the management would be to be more open to suggestions from the staff on how to conduct day to day business. Certain decisions in policy change should be made transparent and audible to the staff instead of the 'do as I say or quit' mentality."

"I liked all of the experiences that I earned. Enjoyed protecting and being a good member of this society."

"Frequent change of security supervisors and officers leading to poor communication and job security or stability."

"Increase seurity officers' pay, consider assisting officers who have college degrees, placement in CBS in-house departments."

"As any job, it had its days ,but nothing too bad to say about it."

"I like the sites I have been assigned to. I have learned so much hands on experience with Securitas. I have had different positions like becoming the front desk receptionist."

"I suggest that management should be handled in proper ways at certain sites. There have been managers that have relatives that work under them, and they show favoritism."

"It's a job that is a very good back up. But continue to seek more."
