"Horrible place to work management are overpaid, incompetent, and don’t care. Safety is a joke to this company. The WORST place I’ve ever worked. HR is non-existent in Everett, the guy in charge is useless and lazy. A general manager is a puppet who can’t make a decision on his own. Regional GM is completely clueless about the business but he bullies his managers. Truly sad company."

"I started work at Schnitzer Steel in July of 2019 with the hopes of completing their management trainee program in Everett, MA and continuing on with a career in management at the company. The only reason why I did not complete the program was that there was a small misunderstanding about the future location of the job, I had originally hoped to have a career in Rhode Island but as time went on I began to realize that this opportunity was not as I had imagined. I have nothing negative to say about the company at all, we just had a misunderstanding about my future within it."
