"I started at SandRidge Energy in 2018. The organization had a culture of looking for people that would challenge the status quo, but only doing so in a manner that respectful. The company processes high moral quality people and CEO Paul McKinney was bringing highly competent team members that were also of high moral quality. I was given the autonomy to do my job as I hit my targets. It was the only company that have worked for that utilized a 360-review process as part of the annual review process successfully on a continuous basis. Although the company had a healthy culture, the company did not possess high quality assets. This being coupled with depressed commodity pricing, led to a workforce reduction. When the WARN Act was activated, it was understood what the company needed to do. I enjoyed my time at SandRidge and am glad I had the opportunity."
