"The only tip I have is to continue to gain product knowledge. AFW carries thousands of products and as a sales professional you must stay on top of them in order to guide your customer to what will best fit their needs"

What don't you like about working at American Furniture Warehouse?

"It does not look like I'm ever going to be able to join their buying team like I was hoping when I joined their organization. The individual who hired be said he felt like with my experience I could move up in just a few years."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop treating your sales force like they are in grade school. For the most part these are experienced sales people who should be treated with respect."

What do you like about working at Nordstrom?

"I like the environment, the training, the coaching, the availability of success seminars, the team building, the friends you make, the success, and most of all, the opportunity for growth."

"Gorgeous showroom with excellent product display and easy going but hard working environment. Always busy and a well rounded company."

"Cannot say there was anything I did not like. Maybe an improvement in the amount of paperwork and administrative duties involved."
