"Compensation was low for base salary compared to competition. Getting promoted was more a matter of subjectiveness than actual fulfilling all the requirements (it would change regularly so that you don't get it)."

"Started in 2012. Wasn't what I thought it was. Social promotions, if you are in sales it's erratic."

"I have been there since we opened the hotel and love the job and the people until the new DOE changed the focus to it is solely about his hardnosed attitude, is the only way to treat people. Never knowing how I was going to be treated on my Monday back."

"Sage is a good company where everyone has a void in the features that are implemented in a project. With my specific team, however, poor management and inability to properly prioritize features has led to an unstable and confusing vision."

"great benefits, but basically the lower level positions are really bad to work in and there is not much room for growth opportunities"

What do you like about working at Sage?

"The benefits package is good"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"think long and hard about working here. the salary is not adequate for living here in souther california. many employees work 2 jobs to make it."

What don't you like about working at Sage?

"getting micromanaged,,,every minute of your day is programmed and weighted against metrics. Did you handle 10 clients in 1 hour and if not why not They grade your performance on flawed customer surveys over which you have only some control."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"more growth opportunities, trust that your workers will do the right thing, stop micromanaging, use better statistical analysis; a first year math student can see that yours are flawed and do not meet margin of error or confidence level for statistical anaylsis. unrealistic metric goals overemphasize short-term performance and encourage employees to conceal, ignore, and defer problems. some employees simply cheat to make the numbers and since you care only about numbers they are the ones who get promoted. A significant number outright lie."
