"The training is excellent. Management wants employees trained and have certifications. They also want the customers and their employees trained on the various software they sell. The teamwork and all employees will help you if you have problems."

"Get your starting salary as high as you can. I worked an excessive amount of overtime and had good numbers from customer feedback. When my employee review was due I didn't get a raise."

What don't you like about working at Sage?

"I had a bad manager so I can't let that influence my overall opinion. The company as a whole is a good company. When a tasks was assigned it had to done immediately."

"think long and hard about working here. the salary is not adequate for living here in souther california. many employees work 2 jobs to make it."

"getting micromanaged,,,every minute of your day is programmed and weighted against metrics. Did you handle 10 clients in 1 hour and if not why not They grade your performance on flawed customer surveys over which you have only some control."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"more growth opportunities, trust that your workers will do the right thing, stop micromanaging, use better statistical analysis; a first year math student can see that yours are flawed and do not meet margin of error or confidence level for statistical anaylsis. unrealistic metric goals overemphasize short-term performance and encourage employees to conceal, ignore, and defer problems. some employees simply cheat to make the numbers and since you care only about numbers they are the ones who get promoted. A significant number outright lie."

"Yes, They should be themselves. I found that working at sage was like being in a family. If you treat them well then they treat you well. Always be honest as to what is going on."

"Sometimes the environment could have been as bit better. At the time I was dissatisfied with a lot but have come to find it wasn't so bad."

"Do not talk or treat the employees as if they were not smart. Sometimes they would come up with things that were explained in a childish way. Tell us the truth not some kids story we are adults."
