"I enjoyed the ownership. I learned a lot from this small family run company. I had immidiate access at all times to the decision makers, They gave me a lot of tools that I draw from to this day."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Bring your HVAC skills and look to move up. They will help you do it."

What don't you like about working at Sage?

"The work running gas pipe in all sorts of weather and size and scope of some projects was extremely phisical."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"One of my managers was extrmely emotional at times. I would offer to him to be less vocal in front of his employees."

"I liked everything about the company except profit sharing and lack of quality control."

"autonomy and daily variety. Great clients. Early on, the travel and training opportunities were fantastic, but that went away with the economic decline."

"Income potential is vastly reduced by economy, but work is good if you can build a loyal client base."

What don't you like about working at Sage?

"industry was hard hit by declining economy. LOTS of unpaid driving time (other than fuel reimbursement)."

"more communication with employees, more team feel...more follow-up and support. Definitely not for those who like to be micro-managed!"
