"Being a contract Safety Consultant delegates a person to be just an employee with no action ability. To work in a work first group handcuffs a good safety manager. Be a Safety Manager, Director, Site Safety and other titles with being a full time employee makes it a stronger position and direction from management to to act and protect. If others don't conform call management. This allows for a reduction in loss across the board."

"The freedom of making your own schedule while working in the field."

"Turn around and run. There are many other opportunities out there."
What don't you like about working at Sentry Insurance?
"The pay is based on the cost of living in a small town in WI, so they do not care where in America you live.The HR department is worthless to the employees. They are only looking out for the top management. This means that the employees have no place to turn if you are having problems with your manager."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Arrogance does not equal professionalism. It would benefit them to send their management to a training class on how to be a manager. My last manager got his job because his wife was a VP. That is right, there is a little to much relative watching out for relative at the home office."

"That the company sold instead of remaining focused on the overall job performance."
