"It is part of the largest 'not for profit' health care system in the USA. It is growing rapidly and making significant changes in processes that often screw every thing up. There is a severe lack of communication. They have a poor understanding of technology."

"I would improve the processes for getting things do. I would make sure each associate has the tools they need to do their job quickly & efficiently. I would stress the importance of team work!"

"With Avera Sacred Heart You have to be able to work hard, but always do things ethically right and believe with strong conviction that what you are doing is serving a higher purpose."

"Living in South Dakota. I used to love it, but it's getting old."

"Nothing. We were one of the few hospitals in the black last year and that's because everyone pulled together to come up with ways to improve efficiencies. This was a direct result of excellent management from the CEO on down."

"Employees were extremly pleasant easy to work with. Sacred Heart is a catholic hospital and a giving hospital, which was one of the reasons I applied there. Being a small hospital each patient was given special attention and comfort no matter of coverage, race, or religion."
