"I've been with Rovi for just over two years, the first 6 months as a contractor. Initially, Rovi was a positive experience and was improving over the years. In the last year or so, Rovi has lost its way. Executives are out of touch with the rank and file, there are constant organizational changes, and there's no clear vision. Benefits are good, however."

"Prepare by knowing what the company does, and be interested in the products."

What don't you like about working at Rovi?

"Lack of career path, and uncertainty due to multiple takeovers, and now we are simply remote office with few senior managers on site."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to employees asking for better indication of career path within the company, instead of panic reaction when somebody leaves for a better position."
