What do you like about working at Ross Stores?

"They were a great company but Target made a better offer to me that I couldn't pass up. I had never done big box retail besides May Company. They were hiring me as Assistant Manager for the store. An opportunity I couldn't pass up. I was recruited and I accepted. I stayed with Target 15 years."

What don't you like about working at Ross Stores?

"Limited manpower hours but than was expected in retail. But equipment was very limited in those buildings when doing price changes, etc."

"It was hard to get a stable workforce, initially there was a lot of temporary labor that filled positions."

"Continue to accept ideas from the operation floor. Some of the hourly associates had good ideas that made huge improvements in our operation."
