4.8I have worked for Right Direction for 10 years. This is a secondary position for me as their work is on an as needed, case by case basis. The work can be challenging (working with at-risk adolescents with behavioral health struggles) but also very rewarding. Each case is somewhat different which makes it exciting, some are short and some are very long. I feel that this company is the best in this industry (I have worked for a couple other ones) as they handle virtually all of the logistics for each case and provide a great IT platform to make my work easier. They have provided me with a corporate AMEX for case expenses and I have 24/7 office support. They definitely make you pass a background and driver's license check which wasn't a problem for me. They do pay overtime and you are covered under their professional liability (they even post their policy on their website) and worker's comp policy. If you are not into lots of traveling, which can be a grind, working in this industry is not for you.
4.7I have worked with this company for more than eight years. There’s a lot of guidance and support as well as the autonomy to show your personal strengths with every case you do. They have great management that is there to help and a supportive hotline number to call when you are in cases. I’m glad that there are companies out here like this. I only wish that they offered full-time positions! I also can continue our six-month evaluations so you can keep honing your abilities and your skill set. I love the traveling, and the ability to work hours in a small amount of time.
4.9I have worked for this company for over 10 years now, since 2007. I love my job and everyone I work with. The intake staff is knowledgeable and supportive through every step of the intervention process. If there is an issue during my intervention, no matter what time of day or night, they are there to support and assist me. I had to go through a lot of online training and in person training as well as pass two background checks. This company is fully insured, which makes me feel secure working for them. If you have a passion for helping at-risk youth and you don't mind traveling a lot, this is a great job on-call position that works well with those that have other flexible jobs. I would highly recommend this employer.
