Working at RGIS in Endicott, NY: 1 Employee Reviews

Auditor

"RGIS is perhaps a terrible place to work."

What do you like about working at RGIS?

"Flexible hours so you can choose the days/nights/weekends when and if you can work."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"No. No tips are necessary, all you need to be able to do is count. If you interview, you will be hired, they don't have room to argue with the huge turnover rate."

What don't you like about working at RGIS?

"No bonuses, no vacation time, no sick time, the benefits are a joke (only minimum medical, no dental, no eye doctor) even if the schedule is flexible they will put you on everything and it is debatable about how much time you will actually work. Some weeks you may not get any sleep, while other weeks there will be next to no work. It isn't guaranteed. They say it is competitive pay, but it is not. It is a dog eat dog company. They have three pay grades for hourly workers, and it only goes up to 10.50/hour. If you can suck up to the boss maybe you can get put on the areas that earn you a dollar or two more per hour. These area's are typically reserved for the best/favored employees. Area and District managers are typically very hostile to their employee's with very few exceptions. Very hostile work environment with very little in the way of being motivated to do a good job. When the new management took over they cut everyone's pay to the current levels. Employee's that worked there for several decades (some 20 - 40 years) had their pay cut in half to current levels from 25$/hour or more to 10/hour or less. Executives visiting on site inventories to inspect yelling at employee's for not showing loyalty to the company when those same executives fire employee's that have faithfully served for 40+ years for no good reason should not be talking in such a manner to anyone."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Put pay back on a per performance basis, not on the APH system. I am sure that companies that request your service are tired of your defrauding them. Your managers need better/more training, they treat your employees like dirt."
