What don't you like about working at Northwest Tire & Hi-Tech Service?
"The owner and his son are complete jerks. The owner's son has temper tantrums similar to that of a teenager in the middle of his stores, in front of customers. The company treats their employees like garbage over stupid and trivial things. They treat their managers like thieves, putting them on edge with employees, which just causes the entire operation to crumble like a house of cards. Anyone who's been in the business in Lansing or the surrounding area as an employee knows Northwest Tire and that they are a joke, not worth working for at all. They send their employees all over the state for training, but refuse to even pay for gas!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The owners need to realize that their employees make the wheels turn for their business, and treat them as such. Making big deals out of stupid things like people being 30 seconds late clocking in and the like is what makes you look like petty squabbling jerks. Quit treating your employees like thieves or serfs, treat them like people!"

"Macy's Burlington is the worst employer to work! Do not work for an employer who does not give you constructive criticism and is not kind to you."

"Employers do not train their employees correct procedures. They are very critical of new employees."

"Educate Macy's employers to be extremely kind, compassionate, and respectful to the new employees."

What don't you like about working at Cracker Barrel?
"The present manager has expressed to me how she does not like the people that she works with. She is from the South and most of us are Northerner and products of NJ. High taxes high cost of living and just trying to get by. Her belief is that we are all overpaid and should only make what they do in the south."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Take a good look at the cost of living before you place a store in the area and don't advertise that you as an employer can get 3 raises in a year because that is false advertising."

"I liked the professional atmosphere. I also liked the constant training for product knowledge."

"Don't be a great or bad worker because you won't survive. They only keep the people who never complain."

"Dead end job, anytime you show interest in moving up in the company, it seems as though somehow they would figure a way of getting rid of that particular person. It happen a lot."

"Hire from within the company and get more input from the sales staff. They are the ones with the one-on-one with the customers."

"I liked helping with the Visual Merchandise. the group I worked with was a great group. Just the benefits needed some work."

"No room for advancement. I felt a little discriminated against."

"Keep everyone from gossiping and making sure all sales associates were helping customers more. Not helping random customers."
