"Meeting different types of people and the challenge of selling someone a product that they are doubtful or hesitant to purchase."

"Be positive and upbeat. I know people there that don't know a thing about the products that the store carries but they were hired because of their good attutudes."
What don't you like about working at Bass Pro Shops?
"Being allocated to one area while I'm at work. I realize that we have to have organization within departments but I wouldn't mind working in other departments from time to time."

"I really wish that our management was more in tune with products that we carry. When I say that I don't mean knowing if we have a certain item. I mean to know how to use it, exactly what it is for and what it does. The same type of information that a customer would be asking."

"They have a terrible system for advancement. Rather than taking the most qualified person for the job, they have the person who has worked there the longest. You will not advance until the people who have been there longer leave."
