"people were not rewarded according to thir performance not according to how good a..kissers they are!!!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"need to realize that manager need 2 things -know how to treat people (excatly the soft skills they are BIG on during the interviewing proseess, which is exactlly what managments lacks) AND managers need to go through all the steps of the ladder - you cannot manage people if you have not REALLY worked yourself. Many people cannot realize that in order to become boss you need to be ready to do all the things you made your employees do yourself and to actually know what does this mean to accomplish certain things."

"The university has a low pay scale, which is not particularly rewarding."

"there are only limited area in topics decision and it was not easy to choose outside topics."

"It would be nice to extend research areas and testing methods."

"The facilities are very well equipped for my need to get the job done."

"Interviewing an academia position is mostly to show your passion to the research project and the skills that will benefit the project in certain time frame."

"The location is not what I prefer. The living expenses are too high."

"I am only reporting to the principle investigator, so the management is very different than Industry."

"it was essentially a part time job, too far from my family."
