"Senior Management was always available for questions and support."

"This is a financially driven company so you must possess an indepth knowledge of accounting and apply these skills at high end levels at each business unit."
What don't you like about working at Remington Hotels?
"Personal lives of associates did not seem to play an important part to the owners of the company."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Do not place a Vice President to also manage the Corporate Flagship Hotel at the Dallas Galleria. The General Manager should be a stand alone manager as the Corporate Office needs do not lend well when the VP/GM is traveling to and visiting alternate business units that they are responsible for."
What do you like about working at Entertainment Publications?
"Entertainment is now owned by someone else and operates completely different than when I was there. It used to be a wonderful place to work."

"The quality of management is unsurpassed. I like having the ability to run with management decisions."

"I loved MM and the franchisees. I rated recommending MM low right now because they are still going through problems and still laying off. Otherwise they have been a wonderful company and I'm confident they will come through the tough times."

"helping franchisees to grow their businesses and achieve their dreams."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just for anyone looking to be an FBC to understand what an important and critical role it is in a franchise organization and you have to be driven by a passion to help a franchisee grow and become successful. It isn't a 9-5 job. Even when an FBC isn't traveling, franchisees need help at all hours of the day or evening. They come to rely on their FBC to be available when they need assistance, especially new franchisees. An FBC needs to be completely dedicated to helping franchisees become successful, even if it means having some tough love conversations when franchisees are not following the system."
What don't you like about working at Money Mailer?
"seeing a franchisee fail, no matter what we tried to do. I never got used to losing a franchisee and never will. Every franchise organization has to strive to lower attrition rates to keep a healthy, strong team."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To add back field support people and cut in other areas that doesn't affect the franchisees as much. When franchisees are left without field support, the failure rate only escalates, which is what is happening right now. Franchisees still call me asking for help because they have no support now. That is a shortsighted decision for any franchise company."

"Do your homework and know the details of this company and its competitors. How will you make a difference What do you have that others applying for the position may not Show that you are not just looking for a job, but that you want to be part of a successful team."

"It was difficult to work with a new supervisor who had no knowledge of CA and it's market particulars."

"More focus is needed for training managers who are responsible for new areas they are not familiar with."

"The action with the associates and customers at the different locations was exciting. Pride in visiting every 143 stores in my region where some never met a VP of the company. They hid old inventory behind walls."

"The company is no longer in existance."

"They were not thinkers, looking for better ways to think outside the box. The company was very regamented."

"If the company were still in existence mainly to have put money back into the stores to update them. Work to be more creative on the merchandising."
