"Company employed about 300 employees and had an annual turnover rate of about 28%. The company is owned by the City of Troy and is subsidized by at $1.5M annual tax payment. Like any company, there are both good and not-so-good things. GOOD: Senior management is open and transparent about the financial state and upcoming changes in healthcare law and how that may impact the hospital. NOT-SO-GOOD: The high turnover rate makes it difficult to feel safe."

"I've worked with Tri-City Regional Medical Center for over 6 years now. Being an out of state resident, I like the schedule we agreed upon (4 day work week) where I can stay on the job half of the week and be with my daughters in LAs Vegas half of the week. It's a small community hospital so I pretty much a one man team in the Revenue Cycle area, coordinating, assisting, managing, maintenance, tools development, in-service, and at the same time doing the Pro-forma analysis of physicians, bariatric and spine programs and other financial analysis projects. I was able to utilize all my experience in the revenue cycle field in this facility and have expanded my knowledge the last 5 years."
