"This business was once extremely specialized and valued in North America. Now there are over 4000 global competitors which has resulted in extreme margin pressure hence lean organizations. The income can be very generous when once you haul in a significant opportunity but the organizations don't care to pay on them for more than one two years and move the accounts house."

"Subject matter; nutrition. Like-minded team. Helping team progress. Recognition for market though short-lived."

"Do your research to know what you're getting into. Like you do before any purchase, read the reviews....lots of them."
What don't you like about working at General Nutrition Centers?
"Hostile, threatening executive leadership. Abandoned customer service and went full-bore selling culture."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Wrong person running the stores. Turn-over is direct result. Losing great people due to bad promotion of field leader. Worst choice for a leader. Get back to customer service as focus and incentivize managers on top line sales. Abandon the million metrics which have turned into an obsession instead of the customer experience."
