"Make sure you are ready for the work, the summer is brutal"

"Nothing, everyone was really good to work with and we never had problems"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep up the good work and continue doing what you're doing"
What do you like about working at Stop & Shop?
"I like the environment when I'm left alone to work. Dealing with vendors and doing paperwork and such is a not a bad job at all."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is not a bad place to work at...if your team is a good one, yet at the same time I cant see making a career out of this maybe a part time on the side. Seems all the Full timers are older and have been with the company for years. Now they make you jump through too many hoops like (for example) how they have the ability to move you anywhere within a 25 mile radius for full time...which totally killed that opportunity for me as I dont even own a vehicle and cant afford one without a full time job."
What don't you like about working at Stop & Shop?
"the constant hoops to do anything are frustrating...some things we do I don't agree with and or just cause extra unnecessary steps. Boss is constantly checking up on me as if I'm not qualified to do my job. Also when I am walking around, Or sitting and waiting (part of my job) I constantly am being asked why am I doing what I am doing I'm not a 3 year old and would like to be treated like I'm a competent adult."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"communicate with employees better. Know who I'm hiring and what schedules for so to not have understaffed days and or schedule mix ups...actually take the time to evaluate employees instead of trusting rumors from other workers. its frustrating when some employees cant get work done because they are picking up other peoples slack."
What do you like about working at Lowe's?
"I liked being able to help customers. I liked completing tasks assigned to me with the appropriate tools. It was very satisfying."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Lowe's was a fun work environment. Being friendly and flexible are the best skills one can posses when working for Lowe's."
What don't you like about working at Lowe's?
"Lowe's presented very few opportunities for advancement. And the salary made the cost of daycare unreasonable."

"The population in the building is over-crowded."
