"Exactly what I like. Being micromanaged is not for me, but I do like to have guidance available if I need it"

"Get away from the red tape and reliance on metrics that don't mean anything. Sure, measurement and data are necessary, but sometimes just looking at what is going on will tell you more that so-called metrics"

"In the QA role, the management always flip-flops on their decisions and at times seems like they are always trying to do CYA protocols."

"For QA in particular, Learn how to manage and how to promote healthy interaction. Value your employees and contractors equally. Be more forthcoming as per the department's situation. Understand process improvement."
