"PwC is like a corporation's corporation. They want to see hard workers who are willing to continually learn, contribute to the firm, and produce revenue. They want rock stars, so show them that you have the potential to be one."

What don't you like about working at PwC?

"Adoption of new technologies is nigh on impossible. It's a slow moving machine, so this has hindered knowledge transfer and made it pretty much necessary to get most specific information from other employees. Even in the high technology sector, we can't get an inch tech-wise. We're treated like the rest of the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Introduce true collaborative tools and processes that would help people do their job faster and with less stress."

"There are many interesting clients, good exposure to diversity of clients, and opportunities for growth, if you're willing to give what it takes to get there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you're willing to put in the hours and lack of work-life balance to pick your way through the ranks, you can make a lot of money. Just don't always expect to be promoted because of merit. Oh, and if you're good, they'll often just give you twice the work as someone who's bad, and still promote you in the same year."

What don't you like about working at PwC?

"I dislike the long hours for staff. Pay isn't great compared to value on the open market, at least at lower levels of staff."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Hire more staff level employees. That said, once you've made the club of upper echelon positions, there's not much reason to hire too many staff--cuts into your bottom line!"
