"I loved it. It broke my heart to leave, but there was not enough billable PM work available."

"There was so much nonbillable work to do that other team members did not like doing but I did that I wish that there had been less of an emphasis on billable work for the PM position."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Redefine the responsibilities of the PM position to include 30% time providing sales support, and reduce billable hour requirements accordingly. This was a critical component of the job, and without it, sales would not happen, but the company did not allocate enough hours to it. Also, they should consider a new vendor as the product was very inconsistent between versions, which required excessive workarounds. Alternatively, they should consider buying their vendor so that they can control the quality and consistency of the product."

"The hours are flexible and the ease of getting my projects completed is relieving with a great team. Although, the company is small (5-10 employees), it is rewarding to be able to throw in new ideas and have them reviewed without hesitation from the owners"

"The construction industry is a man powered world, and can be a bit challenging as a young woman. This is not to say that I don't like anything about this company, but I enjoy solving the challenges and road blocks"
