Project Analyst at Ayoka
in Arlington, TX

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"They are prone to high turnover, with no incentive to stay long-term."

What do you like about working at Ayoka?

"-Getting to learn a lot about various industries-Great for students looking for a starting point -Flexible with schedule"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be yourself. The interview process is fairly simple no tough questions. You will hear back within two weeks if not sooner."

What don't you like about working at Ayoka?

"-Lack of structure-No clear duties-Too many projects given to interns who have no idea what they are doing (This is where the learning comes in. You have no choice but to try and keep up)-No training-No management present-CEO sits in meetings on the computer and says nothing, useless-Too many expectations from students with no PM background-Lack of respect for client's time, meeting always start late because CEO is never around-From what I could tell over half of the workforce was students"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"-Invest in your workforce and maybe people would stick around-Pay doesn't justify what PM's are expected to do/know-Stop lying to clients about your expertise"

in Jacksonville, FL

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"A horrible experience with no clear guidance or training."

"I really don't like anything about working for the company. They have nice grounds and pretty good food, but other than that it is like a beautiful prison."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you want in, good luck. I basically just said everything I thought they wanted to hear, and also told them I could start right away, and that got them interested."

What don't you like about working at Blue Cross Blue Shield?

"I dislike everything. Managers are not involved in helping employees with anything. No one talks to me and makes me feel like I am part of the team, but there is a lot of talking behind my back. There is no hands-on training. They have classes and manuals that you read, which don't help. We are all working in cubicles which are so close together you can hear what everyone is doing. I don't feel like I can be myself here."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be more involved! My manager never says anything to me unless it is in the form of an email. She isn't involved in my training and no one ever sat down with me and explained what the job was and what the training would entail. All day I sit here by myself; no one talks to me and I do nothing."
