"If you aren't interested in working in a particular field, then don't exaggerate your skills in that field; otherwise, odds are they'll stick you in a position you don't really want."
What don't you like about working at TEKsystems?
"Recruiters seem more interested in making a placement than they do finding a good fit."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The economic situation dictates the market, so there is not much room for improvement. However, they might want to concentrate less on hiring sales-minded recruiters, and instead try to attract talent from the current workforce - someone who actually knows what employers are looking for."

"I liked the job that I was doing, I liked the location and the people that I worked with."

"PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE BEWARE! WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR! ONE OF THE MANAGERS IS UNHAPPILY SINGLE, VERY FAT & LONELY-SHE HAS NOTHING BETTR TO DO WITH HER LIFE BEYOND EAT, BOSS EVERYONE AROUND & WORK."
What do you like about working at Perception Research Services?
"The salary can be enticing but it is not worth your sanity or work/life balance. Expect to sleep 3-4 hours every night & don't expect to be thanked for your hard work. Going to bed at 2AM every day is the norm & is ACTUALLY expected!"

"If you're happy just to copy & paste, work until 2AM every day & constantly lick some serious ass you will fit right in!"

"Worst experience ever. Many of the employees have LITTLE or NO experience outside the company & have had no managerial experience. They act like a bunch of monkeys. You only need to know how to copy & paste & lick some serious ass to get ahead."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"There is NO management, this is a serious issue in the company. If you fell asleep during school & know how to lick ass, you will fit right in. Also there Eye Tracking machines constanly break during field and they dont make up missed interviews or inform the client!! They are all about profit, not the end-result or people!"

"The constant company growth (acquiring other companies) made the work environment feel cut-throat."

"Stop, take a minute value the talent and don't make them feel so expendable--like property. Change is good but give the players time to catch up to be productive."

What do you like about working at TEKsystems?
"Depending on what location you're in makes a difference. Recruiters make the difference. When I worked in FL, had no problems with them finding work for me, etc. Pleasant to work with, more like family atmosphere! Listened to your needs and tried to accommodate."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you need a job, yes, this is the place to go. If you need a career, read carefully. And ask a lot of questions. Will this be right for you?"
What don't you like about working at TEKsystems?
"Location. When I moved to NY, different atmosphere, more stress, recruiters didn't really give a bleep. Higher ups were stressing recruiters out to make a certain quota a month... BS."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management needs to really take a look at the end result and take into consideration the techs that are actually working at the sites. Yes, everyone needs a job, but if it's contract will they go perm. Give contract employees paid time off!!! Not some measly dinner once a year. We'd rather take the PAID TIME OFF."
